You could try just ftp.barnet.ac.uk, I don't know if it'd be any
better.
It's almost certainly possible to setup majordomo and/or ftpmail for
at least the acornet files - you can already retreive the list
archives by this method. (send email with body 'index acornet' or
'get acornet archive.9707' and so on to
* majordomo@lists.barnet.ac.uk *, they're also on the ftp site).
Would anyone like this?
